2020 was a year not easily forgotten. We have been faced with a global pandemic with unprecedented (yes, I said it) numbers; COVID-19.
When our government first started shutting down schools my initial response was not for my own daughter, but what about the children that depend on school for food?
I knew, immediately, that there would be a call on our food banks like they had never seen before.
In that moment, I decided that I would find a way to give back and do my part in the fight against hunger.
Because nobody should go to bed hungry.

The United Nations World Food Program considers hunger "one of the most solvable problems that face the world today."
